Austin ------> Sacramento

After 10 wonderful years living in Austin, Texas, my wife and I found ourselves in a bittersweet situation. We had built a beautiful life surrounded by the vibrant culture, music scene, and culinary delights that Austin has to offer. We have a family of wonderful clients who rode out ice storms, floods, and global shutdowns with us. From lazy afternoons by the lake to exhilarating nights with live music under the stars, we found our forever home in Austin.

However, life has a funny way of putting things into perspective. When the time came to return to Sacramento, California, to care for our aging parents, we knew it was the right choice. Family always comes first, right? While Sacramento may not quite have the same energy of Austin yet, we’re discovering its unique charm. The beautiful parks, rich history, and welcoming community are helping us transition to this new chapter in our lives.

Staying Grateful

Settling back in Sacramento has its challenges, but we're embracing it wholeheartedly. We’ve been exploring our old neighborhoods and visiting some favorite spots from our past. The food scene is different, but we're excited to try it all. We’re reconnecting with old friends and making new ones, gathering in cozy backyards or exploring the local farmers’ markets on weekends.

This journey is about more than just geography; it represents growth, family, and the adventure of life. While we will always hold a piece of Austin in our hearts, we’re committed to embracing our life in California. We have close friends who are taking great care of our clients in Austin, and we are excited to continue growing our family of clients in California. We will be back for barbecue and Tex-Mex (and HEB), but in the meantime, we are excited to keep our joy and create new memories.
